It measures 7-3/4 in. across and 19-1/2 in. long.

Why area matters

Square footage is what decides how much water the filter can pass and how long it runs before pressure climbs. A cartridge with the full 105 square feet of pleated media keeps the pressure drop low and stretches the interval between cleanings. Undersizing it puts the pump to work against the filter instead of the pool.

When to replace rather than clean

A cartridge can be washed many times, but the media wears. Once the pleats hold grey no matter how they are cleaned, or the fabric has gone soft and floppy, filtration has fallen off and the element is due. Measure the old cartridge against the dimensions above before ordering, since similar cartridges are made in more than one length.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0801/9568/2516/files/default_2988a1a1-641d-4c02-a8f0-605f8ac20638.png?v=1788710918
