The cover measures 22 x 42 ft, so roughly a foot of fabric reaches the deck on every side once the springs are tensioned. The step section is 8 ft wide and 4 ft back from the pool at the water line, and because it is sewn in one place, the side matters when you order.

Blue mesh at 4.5 oz per square yard, burst rated at 385 PSI.

Leaves and grit stay out while rain and snowmelt drain into the pool.

A 5 by 5 ft strap grid keeps the panel tight across a large opening.

Brass anchors tamp flush with concrete or paver decking and adjust with a hex key.

Springs, an installation rod, a tamping tool and a storage bag are included.

One thing worth planning for at closing: mesh passes daylight as well as water, so algae has a little more to work with than it would under a solid panel, and the usual answer is to double the algaecide dose going into the winter. Rain running through the fabric also dilutes the water chemistry over the months, and the level itself creeps up, so give both a look before spring. None of that needs a cover pump, because nothing stands on a mesh surface to begin with. PoolTux warrants this one for 15 years, with the first 3 full.

https://www.activepoolsupply.com/products/20-x-40-royal-mesh-right-step-safety-cover-blue-15-yr-warranty
