Slip Insider, White, 615SI101

The AquaStar 615SI101 is a white 6 in. sumpless bulkhead adapter with a 1-1/2 in. slip insider connection, designed for the AquaStar 6HPHA 6 in. round hockey puck suction outlet cover.

What it does

A sumpless bulkhead connects a suction outlet cover to the plumbing without a sump below it. The cover mounts on the 6 in. adapter, and the 1-1/2 in. slip insider end joins the suction line. With the 6HPHA cover, AquaStar describes the result as zero sump depth, with no additional sump required.

Choosing the right version

AquaStar part numbers spell out the connection: 15 means 1-1/2 in., 20 means 2 in., SI is slip insider, T is thread, and the last three digits are the color, with 101 for white. The same 6 in. adapter also comes as 620SI with a 2 in. slip insider, 615T with a 1-1/2 in. thread and 6E15T with an extended 1-1/2 in. thread. For fiberglass and steel wall pools AquaStar makes the 6HA25T20S, with a 2-1/2 in. thread, 2 in. socket, gasket and locking nut.

Before you order

This part number is the bulkhead adapter only; AquaStar sells the 6HPHA cover separately. The flow rating and anti-entrapment certification belong to the cover, so check the cover rating against the flow on that suction line.
