The lift needs 55 to 65 psi of open flow water pressure to raise 400 lb, and it travels 44 in. vertically. The seat turns 180 degrees clockwise by itself, forward on the way into the water and backward on the way out. The footrest flips up and its mounting arm sits under the seat, so a side transfer is unobstructed.
