The plates make chlorine by electrolysis and they wear as they work, so output falls off gradually until the system reports low production or the water stops holding a residual. Changing the cell restores the whole system, which is why cells outnumber controllers in every parts catalog.

The clear housing

CompuPool builds these cells in a clear housing. That is a practical detail rather than a styling one: you can see whether the plates are gassing when the system says it is producing, and you can see scale forming before it costs you output. It makes the difference between cleaning a cell on schedule and finding out too late.

Part numbers

The cell is listed as RJ-G-45-RC and also as RJG-45-RC, and the system it serves appears as CMARSCT45-7Y and as CMARCCT45-7Y. They are the same 45,000 gallon Titanium Edition pairing. Match the gallon rating on your controller before ordering, since the 20,000 and 30,000 gallon systems take different cells.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0801/9568/2516/files/default_70b45f6b-88dc-496a-9517-3e9d676227d3.jpg?v=1788728086
https://www.activepoolsupply.com/products/compupool-replacement-salt-cell-for-calimar-titanium-edition-system-cmarsct45-7y
