The supply converts and regulates the power the cell needs to convert salt into chlorine, and it carries the controls and diagnostics for the system. When the supply fails, the cell can be in perfect condition and still produce nothing.

Cell and supply are separate

This listing is the power supply on its own. The cell is a separate part with its own service life, so a system that has stopped producing needs both checked before you decide which one to buy.

Fitting

Confirm Saline C 6.0 on the equipment plate first, since Hayward salt systems use model specific supplies.
