When a swivel seizes, the hose kinks, the cleaner drags it around in a knot and coverage suffers.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eChecking and replacing\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eTwist the hose on either side of each swivel. A good one spins freely; a worn one binds or grinds. The D21 threads onto the hose sections, so replacing it is a matter of unscrewing the old swivel and fitting the new one.
