When the plate cracks around the pin holes or the o-ring is flattened, the handle goes vague, the valve stops holding its position, and water finds its way past the top.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eMeasure before you order\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eValve top plates look much the same across brands and sizes. This one is 4 inches across the outside, 2 inches in total height, with a 1\/2 inch center hole, and the genuine part carries 4930-9 molded into the underside.
