It is the genuine Pentair replacement, listed at 23-5/8 inches in length.

Getting the size right

Clean and Clear is sold in several square footages and each one takes its own element, so order by the rating printed on your tank rather than by the family name. On the diameter, the Pentair product name gives 10-1/6 inches while the short description repeats the same figure with a stray digit in front of it. If diameter is what you are matching on, measure the element that comes out.

When to replace the element

Cartridges are cleaned many times before they are replaced. The point to stop cleaning is when cleaning stops helping: filter pressure that climbs again within days of a wash, pleats that have gone flat or torn, or fabric that has permanently discolored and no longer rinses clean.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0801/9568/2516/files/default_4e93e5f2-2277-4721-9239-52b5eac42a23.jpg?v=1788801831
https://www.activepoolsupply.com/products/pentair-r178671-cartridge-element-for-125-sq-ft-clean-clear-filter-system-10-1-6-inch-diameter-x-23-5-8-inch-length
