Leave the unit where it is, clean and backwash the filter, clear the skimmer and pump basket, then add the booster to the skimmer or pump basket so it dissolves into the water. Run the pump through the heat of the day for at least three to four hours so the minerals dissolve fully rather than settling in the filter, and leave the filter alone for at least two weeks afterward.
