Raypak says the flow switch eliminates pressure issues from elevated pools. Whether a pool needs an ASME heater is for the local code and the inspector to say.

Controls and connections

A microprocessor control with a digital LCD sets the temperature and gives a diagnostic readout, and ties into an existing remote system. The self adjusting burner compensates for gas pressure changes. Water connections are 2 inch slip and the gas connection 3/4 inch NPT, on 120 or 240 VAC. At Raypak's rated 82 percent it puts about 327,180 BTU/hr into the water.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0801/9568/2516/files/default_705d3945-d412-4bf5-9be8-62771cb301d6.png?v=1791211934
https://www.activepoolsupply.com/products/raypak-013732-b-r408a-professional-series-asme-digital-brass-pool-heater-liquid-propane-57-burner-cupro-nickel-tubing
