It is cataloged as C-R206A-EP-C 009284 and B-R206A-EP-C 017391.

ASME and commercial use

ASME certification is the practical dividing line between a residential heater and one that can be installed on a commercial or public pool. Many jurisdictions and inspectors require it outright for hotels, clubs, apartment complexes and municipal pools, and the certification covers the pressure vessel construction rather than the burner.

Altitude and fuel

Air gets thinner as elevation rises, so a burner orificed for sea level delivers more gas than it can cleanly burn once you are up in the mountains. This unit ships orificed for 3000 to 4999 ft. It is set up for propane, which makes it the choice for sites with no natural gas service.

One thing to confirm

The rated input is listed inconsistently in the source material, appearing as both 200k BTU and 266k BTU. Confirm the input against the model number with Raypak before ordering, particularly if you are sizing to a specific pool volume or replacing a known unit.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0801/9568/2516/files/default_374bd2c0-3d75-4dba-8583-35e01e4f678c.jpg?v=1788706127
https://www.activepoolsupply.com/products/raypak-digital-asme-propane-gas-swimming-pool-heater-266k-btu
