The Glacier Ice Block pool cooler is a perfect solution to uncomfortably warm water for medium-sized residential pools. Glacier swimming pool chillers are designed to solve the problem of hot pool water by taking the heat out of the water, and cycling the cool water back into your pool. Depending on the size and finish of your pool, the cooler can lower its temperature from 10 to 15 degrees Fahrenheit in 12 to 14 hours (note: pool finishes and bottoms that absorb heat more readily, such as quartz or dark tile, can take longer to fully cool). The ICE BLOCK (GPC-25) will efficiently cool a pool up to 20,000 gallons, and the ICEBERG (GPC-210) can cool larger backyard pools up to 30,000 gallons and the ICEBERG (GPC-215) can cool larger backyard pools up to 45,000 gallons. However, if your pool has a pebble finish (any color), quartz, tile, or any dark colored plaster bottom and your pool volume is close to the gallon limits above, you should go up one size when choosing your unit.

How Glacier Pool Coolers work:

After the water passes through the filter, a bypass is installed to the Glacier Pool Cooler. The pressurized water flows over a medium and is chilled by airflow created by the unit’s fan. The chilled water is pumped back into the pool through its returns.

This warranty is limited to the first retail purchaser, is not transferable, and does not apply to products that have been moved from their original installation sites. The liability of Glacier Pool Coolers, LLC shall not exceed the repair or replacement of defective parts and does not include any costs for labor to remove and reinstall the defective part,transportation to or from the factory, and any other materials required to make the repair.

All returned parts must accompany a return authorization number issued by Glacier Pool Coolers, LLC and require inspection prior to a warranty being fulfilled. Glacier Pool Coolers, LLC has the right to replace any warranty claim with a refurbished part. All replacement parts are warranted for the initial one year from date of purchase.
