Hunter WRCLIK, Wireless Rain-Clik Sensor Kit

Hunter WRCLIK Wireless Rain-Clik Sensor Kit Wireless Rain-Clik Sensor Kit with Quick Response Technology shutoff; includes: Sensor Receiver Aluminum mount

Hunter Wireless Rain-Clik Sensor Kit The Wireless Rain-Clik pauses irrigation when it rains and shuts off at freezing. No trenching, no sensor wire back to the controller. The kit is a transmitter/sensor plus a receiver that wires to most controllers on a normally open or normally closed port. Spec Value Model WR-CLIK (Hunter part WRCLIK) Type Wireless rain sensor with freeze shutoff Freeze shutoff 37 degrees F Wireless range 800 ft (433 MHz) Kit contents Transmitter/sensor, receiver, mounting hardware Controller fit Most controllers (NO / NC sensor ports) Warranty 5 year Where to use it Wireless is the pick for retrofits and any run where you cannot pull wire to the controller. Mount the sensor where it catches open rain, then wire the receiver to the sensor port. Quick Response shuts the zone down fast when rain starts. It wires to X-Core controllers like the XC-800i and most other brands with a standard sensor input.

Most rain-sensing devices work by accumulating a set amount of rainfall before a switch is activated that interrupts the circuit from the controller and shuts off the system. In that accumulation time, the system will continue to water. This unnecessary waste runs counter to the principles of conservation-conscious municipalities, businesses, and residences. With built-in Quick Response Technology, the Hunter Rain-Clik and Wireless Rain-Clik Sensors can command a controller to shut off right when it starts to rain.
