Hunter XCH-600, XC Hybrid Battery Controller, 6 Station

Hunter XCH-600 XC Hybrid Controller, 6-station, battery-operated, plastic, indoor/outdoor Solar and Battery-Powered Controller That Delivers Power Without the Plug

Hunter XCH-600 XC Hybrid 6-Station Battery Controller The XCH-600 runs six zones with no hardwired AC power. It runs on AA batteries in a weather-resistant plastic case, so it fits valve boxes and sites where you cannot pull power. It requires DC-latching solenoids. Specs Model / MPN XCH600 Stations 6 (fixed) Cabinet Indoor/outdoor, weather-resistant plastic Solenoids Requires DC-latching solenoids (9V 2-wire DC latching); standard AC solenoids will not fire Programs 3 programs (A, B, C), 4 start times each (up to 12 daily starts) Memory Non-volatile; retains the schedule with no battery power Before you install Confirm your valves use DC-latching solenoids. The hybrid pulses DC to latch each valve open and closed, so it cannot drive a standard 24 VAC solenoid. Swap solenoids if needed before wiring. Need more than six zones off battery power? The XCH-1200 is the same platform with 12 stations. If the site has AC power, an X-Core such as the XC-600 uses standard AC solenoids and costs less to run.
