Hunter SOIL-CLIK, Moisture Monitoring Sensor

Hunter SOIL-CLIK Soil-Clik Sensor, soil moisture sensor system; includes sensor and receiver module

Hunter Soil-Clik soil moisture sensor system The Soil-Clik measures moisture in the ground and holds the system off when the soil is already wet. It waters on need, not on a fixed calendar, which cuts overwatering. The system is a buried probe plus an electronic module wired between the controller and the valves. Spec Soil-Clik Type Soil moisture sensor system (probe + module) Interrupt Normally-closed dry contact on the 24 VAC common Electrical 24 VAC; 5 A switch rating; 100 mA input Wire runs (AC) Up to 2 m module-to-controller; up to ~1,000 ft module-to-probe Setup Push-button threshold set with a live moisture readout Fits All AC-powered Hunter controllers and most other brands' AC controllers Warranty 5-year Rain sensor or soil sensor A rain sensor like the Mini-Clik reacts to rainfall. The Soil-Clik reads the actual moisture at the root zone, so it also catches the case where the ground is still wet days after the rain stopped. Install notes Bury the probe in a representative zone at root depth. Wire the module to interrupt the common between controller and valves. Set the moisture threshold with the push-button and the live readout.
