Rain Bird 1800NP Non-Potable Snap Cover The 1800NP is a bright purple snap-on cover that marks a spray head as running on non-potable or reclaimed water. It snaps over the top of any Rain Bird 1800 Series spray head cover, so crews and inspectors can identify recycled-water zones on sight. It does not replace the body or the nozzle; it adds the required purple identification to a head you already run. Bright purple plastic for immediate visual identification of a non-potable system Marked "Do Not Drink" in English and Spanish Fits all Rain Bird 1800 Series spray head covers Improved retention design holds the cover in place during normal use Low profile; snaps on without tools and does not interfere with spray operation Removable for service Where it is used Reclaimed and recycled irrigation lines are commonly required to be color-coded purple so the public and service crews do not mistake them for drinking water. The 1800NP adds that identification to a new or existing 1800 Series spray head without swapping the body. Check your local reclaimed-water code for the exact marking and signage rules that apply on your site.
