Shade Science Pool Buoy Floating Pool Umbrella, Tide White

The Shade Science Pool Buoy is a floating umbrella in Tide White that gives you shade wherever you are in the water. Set it in any pool, lake or hot tub with at least 30 in. of water and it floats on the surface, with a 5 ft. 7 in. UV resistant canopy overhead and five cup holders at the base.

How it stays up

A 6 lb weight hangs beneath the float and works like a keel, balancing the push of wind on the canopy so the umbrella stays upright instead of tipping. There are no anchors, no hardware and nothing to fasten to the pool. It drifts along with you and stays stable while it does.
