Aquatic Access Pool Lifts

2 products

Choose Aquatic Access when the lift must never wait on a battery. Both models here run on the site's water pressure: water fed into the lift raises the seat and letting it out lowers it, with nothing to charge, swap or steal. The IGAT-180 lifts 400 lb from a socket set in the deck and turns the seat 180 degrees on its own; the IGAT-180 AD lifts 350 lb and keeps the lift above the deck, for pools with an automatic cover or raised coping.

About Aquatic Access Pool Lifts

The supply can be a plumbed line or a hose to a faucet, at 35 to 70 psi, with a pressure reducer where the line runs higher. Both seats travel 44 in. top to bottom and carry a flip up footrest. The IGAT-180 stands in a 2.375 in. socket 7 in. deep that comes with it and needs at least 36 in. of straight wall; the IGAT-180 AD uses a 3.5 in. socket 10 in. deep. Both lift out of the socket when the pool closes.

Other manufacturers: S.R. Smith, Aqua Creek, Global Pool Products and Spectrum Aquatics. Battery lifts that move are on portable lifts. The parent page is pool lifts.

Questions about Aquatic Access Pool Lifts

How does a water powered pool lift work?

City water pressure does the lifting. Opening the control lets water into the lift's cylinder, which pushes the seat up, and releasing it lets the seat back down. There is no battery, motor or remote, so it works whenever the water is on and nothing needs charging overnight. Aquatic Access seats travel 44 in. from top to bottom.

My water pressure is over 70 psi, can I still use a water powered lift?

Yes, with a pressure reducer on the supply line. Aquatic Access lifts run on 35 to 70 psi from a plumbed line or a hose to a faucet, and reach full capacity at about 55 to 65 psi of open flow. Pressure under 35 psi is below the range, so measure it at the pool before ordering.

Which pool lift works with an automatic pool cover?

The IGAT-180 AD from Aquatic Access. The whole lift stays above the deck in a 3.5 in. socket 10 in. deep and keeps its working parts out of the water until the seat goes in, which is why Aquatic Access builds it for pools with automatic covers or raised coping. It lifts 350 lb and turns the seat 180 degrees.

What does the deck need for an Aquatic Access IGAT-180?

A socket 2.375 in. across and 7 in. deep set in the deck, which comes with the lift, and at least 36 in. of straight pool wall where the seat swings in. The lift comes out of the socket when the pool closes. Plan the water at the same time: a hose bib or plumbed line near the socket at 35 to 70 psi.
