About Pool Lift Covers

A lift left bare sits in full sun on a hot deck. Sunlight fades the seat and the powder coat and warms the battery, while rain and splash water reach the control box and its contacts. A cover over the lift whenever the pool is closed guards all of it, and separate covers protect S.R. Smith's LiftOperator control box and Aqua Creek's battery and control box.

Aqua Creek makes solar compatible covers for the Scout 2 and Scout Excel, the Revolution and Titan 600, the Spa Series Elite and Neptune, the Spa Series Ultra and the EZ family, for lifts that charge from its solar panel; the Revolution versions lock. Global's deluxe protective covers fit the Commercial, Proformance and Superior series; the Legend, SXR, H-300 and H-350; or the R-375, R-450R and HR-350 in blue or tan. Every S.R. Smith cover here is tan.

Which cover fits an S.R. Smith Splash lift?

The Splash! mast cover fits every Splash! model. For the seat, look at its shape: Splash! lifts with the one piece molded seat made from 2016 on take the Seat Saver or the mast and seat combo, while cover 920-5000T fits the standard Splash!, PAL and PAL2. The aXs2 and the multiLift each have their own cover, and the multiLift's differs for the folding and standard seats.

Will a Ranger cover fit an Aqua Creek Ranger 2?

The gray, tan and premium blue Pro Series covers name the Ranger 2 and Admiral in their fit lists, along with the older Ranger, Pro Pool and Portable Pro 2. The plain blue Pro Series cover lists the Ranger but not the Ranger 2, so read the Fits line on the product before ordering. The sock style actuator cover is a separate part for the actuator alone.

What does a solar compatible pool lift cover do?

It is made to go over an Aqua Creek lift that carries the solar charger, so the lift can stay covered with the panel in place. Solar versions exist for the Scout 2 and Scout Excel, the Revolution and Titan 600, the Spa Series Elite and Neptune, the Spa Series Ultra and the EZ family, in blue, tan or gray depending on the model, and the Revolution covers lock.

Should a pool lift be covered when the pool is closed?

Yes, every night and through the off season. Sun on a bare seat fades it and heats the battery, and rain and sprinkler water work into the control box. Rinse the lift with fresh water first, never pool water and never a pressure washer. In hot or cold spells S.R. Smith asks that the battery come inside when it is below 41 F or above 104 F.
