Product details
Primo 324 is the D-Plates set, two ceramic plates that turn a Primo Oval XL or Kamado into an indirect cooker. They are listed as a heat reflector in the product title and as heat deflector plates in the product copy, which is the same part described two ways.
How they work
The plates go in above the fire, so heat reaches the food around them rather than straight off the coals. That is the difference between searing over direct flame and holding a low steady temperature for a long cook.
What else you need
The D-Plates are used in combination with Primo drip pan racks. Those racks are a separate item, so check that you have them before the plates arrive. The set includes two plates and fits the Oval XL and the Kamado.
