Product details

The Bad Axe X7 is Global Pool Products roto molded swimming pool slide, and this is the left turn version in the Silver Quartz finish. It is built in Bad Axe, Michigan.

How it is built

The body is roto molded with reinforced ribbing, so the slide holds its shape under load and under sun. The flume runs deep and the handrails wrap around it, which keeps the rider centered from the top of the ladder to the water. An integrated flow diverter spreads the water evenly down the flume instead of letting it run in one channel.

Installation

Global Pool Products designed the X7 to go together quickly. The sections use precision alignment connections that seat into one another, and the slide is secured with a single bolt. Plumbing is flexible: there are dual stub-up options and an optional shut-off valve, and the no-leak gasket and flange system with its thru-bolt design keeps the water feed sealed. The whole slide ships in one compact box, which cuts freight volume by up to 40 percent and reduces the chance of damage in transit.

Finish and warranty

The quartz finishes are Blue Quartz and Silver Quartz; this is Silver Quartz. Warranty runs 4 years on an authorized dealer install and 3 years on a DIY install.
