The S.R. Smith 66-209-3103 is a 10 ft Olympian aluminum diving board in Marine Blue with a white non-slip tread, rated for 250 lb and built for heavy duty use on commercial and residential inground pools.

Construction

The Olympian is built around an extruded aluminum beam, assembled with epoxy and welding and closed with welded ends, then powder coated and fitted with a non-slip tread. It is a 2 hole board. S.R. Smith makes it in 10, 12, 14 and 16 ft lengths in Radiant White or Marine Blue.

Choosing the right part number

S.R. Smith supplies commercial boards with a white tread unless noted, and adding a T to the part number orders a tread that matches the board. This board, 66-209-3103, is Marine Blue with the white tread; with a blue tread it is 66-209-3103T, and the Radiant White 10 ft Olympian is 66-209-3102.

Stands and installation

For a 10 ft board, S.R. Smith offers its Steel Meter stand in 1/2, 3/4 and 1 meter heights, with handrails ordered separately at 1 meter, and its 2/3 Meter Deck Level Stand as DLS-100 or DLS-101. The fulcrum goes at 52 in., within 5 in. either way, and the board has to sit level across the fulcrum and heel supports with rubber fulcrum pads and rubber mounting pads in place. Fit a new fulcrum pad whenever the board is replaced, since a reused pad or a fulcrum outside the tolerance voids the warranty. S.R. Smith's 18 in. commercial mounting kit for 8 to 12 ft boards is 67-209-903-SS. The board ships by freight.
