The FX Luminaire PXTIMER is a plug in timer for the PX and EX transformers. It plugs into the receptacle inside either transformer, so there is no wiring to run.
What it does
The timer gives the lighting system an automatic on and off at times you choose, instead of leaving it to a switch someone has to remember. Two on and off settings can be programmed.
Why two settings help
Most owners want light through the evening and again before dawn, but not through the hours when nobody is outside. Two programmable periods let you do exactly that: lights on at dusk, off in the small hours, back on early in the morning, then off at daylight. It cuts lamp hours and energy without giving up the effect anyone actually sees.
