Product details

The J&J Electronics 25051 is a PureWhite VU nicheless LED fixture for pools and spas, rated 20W at 12V and supplied with a 100 ft cord. The model designation is LPL-R2W-12-100.

Nicheless means simpler

The fixture threads into a standard 1.5 in. female threaded return fitting and sits flush with the wall or floor. There is no niche to set and no bonding to run, which is what makes it practical in places a conventional light cannot go: a spa, a set of steps, a swimout or a spillover.

The light itself

PureWhite VU uses cool white LEDs. The point of that color is clarity, water that reads clean and blue rather than yellow, which is the difference most owners notice when they move off an incandescent fixture.
