The J&J Electronics ColorSplash XG-W is a color changing LED pool light built specifically to retrofit existing Sta-Rite and SwimQuip wet niches. This version, model LPL-F1CW-120-50-PSQ, runs on 120 volts, is rated 300W and comes with a 50 ft cord and a polished face ring.

RGB plus white

Most color changing lights mix red, green and blue to produce every shade, including white. The XG-W adds separate white LEDs alongside the RGB set in the same fixture. The result is a cleaner white for ordinary evening swimming and saturated color when you want it, from one light rather than two.

A retrofit, not a rebuild

Because the fixture is sized for the Sta-Rite and SwimQuip niche, the existing wet niche and conduit stay in place. That keeps the job to pulling the old fixture, running the new cord back to the junction box and setting the new light.

Colors and shows

The fixture holds fixed colors and preset light shows, so the same light can sit on a steady blue all season or run through a sequence for an evening.
