Pentair 100' 120V 500W Warm White IntelliBrite Architectural Series Pool Light

The Pentair EC-602253 is the warm white IntelliBrite Architectural Series LED pool light, wired for 120V with a 100 ft cord and rated in the 500W class. It is the second generation of Pentair LED underwater lighting, and the numbers against the first generation are the point: 60% brighter and 50% more energy efficient.

Light quality

Refined optics spread light widely and evenly in all directions, which minimizes the hot spots, dark areas, glare and striping that older fixtures throw across a pool floor. The warm white tone reads soft rather than clinical.

Efficiency

Against incandescent, Pentair rates it 12 times more energy efficient, drawing 94% less power. Against first generation LED it is 80% more efficient, using 44% less power at the same brightness. Either way the running cost drops noticeably on a light that is on every evening.

Control and fit

It runs through a Pentair automation system and the Pentair Home app, and it is the intended upgrade for incandescent or first generation Pentair LED fixtures on both backyard and commercial pools. If you want color changing, the Architectural Series RGBW models are sold separately.
