Pentair MicroBrite Color LED Pool Light 12 Volt, 14 Watt with 100' Cord

The Pentair MicroBrite Color is a compact 12 volt LED light for pools and spas, supplied here with a 100 ft cord. It delivers color changing light with even coverage from a fixture just 3.5 in. long, and it mounts in a standard 1.5 in. pool wall fitting, so there is no niche to set and no large housing to work around.

Light where a niche will not fit

Because it needs only a wall fitting, the MicroBrite goes into places a conventional pool light cannot: step risers, sun shelves, swim outs and water features. Pentair rates it for water as shallow as 4 in., which covers most tanning ledges. On a new build that means lighting can be planned into the details of the shell rather than limited to the main wall.

Retrofit and efficiency

For an existing pool with older incandescent or fiber optic lighting, the MicroBrite is a clean upgrade path. It draws 14 watts at 12 volts and is rated for about 10 times the life of an incandescent lamp, so running cost and lamp changes both drop.

Before you order

This is a 12 volt light and needs a 12 volt transformer. Check the conduit run from the fitting to the junction box; this version carries a 100 ft cord, and Pentair also makes the EC-620457 MicroBrite in warm white with the same cord length if you want fixed white output alongside the color units.
