Product details

Pentair 356198 is the factory seal set for WhisperFlo and IntelliFlo pumps, in the chemical, salt and ozone resistant grade. It bundles every seal a wet end rebuild touches: the shaft seal, the seal plate gasket, the impeller screw washer, the diffuser o-ring, the strainer pot o-ring and the drain plug o-ring.

When to use it

A drip from behind the seal plate, water tracking down the motor, or air in the pot that no lid tightening fixes all point to the seals. Replacing the full set at once means the pump is opened one time and every wear point is new.

Salt and chemical duty

Salt chlorinators, ozone and heavy chemical feed are hard on standard seals. Pentair specifies this set for exactly those conditions, so it is the right choice on any pool running a salt system.

Before you order

The kit covers both WhisperFlo and IntelliFlo. The strainer lid o-ring is not included and is a separate part if yours is flattened or cracked.
