Pentair Clean & Clear Plus 420 sq ft Cartridge Pool Filter

The Pentair Clean & Clear Plus 420 is a four cartridge filter with 420 sq ft of filter area, the largest capacity in the Clean & Clear Plus line, sold under part number EC-160301.

Fine filtration, long intervals

The cartridge elements catch particles down to about 20 microns. For a sense of scale, an average grain of beach sand is around 1,000 microns. Spreading that work across four cartridges gives the filter a great deal of surface area, so it holds more debris before the pressure climbs and goes longer between cleanings.

Cleaning without a backwash

There is no multiport valve and no water sent to waste. Open the top, lift out the four cartridges, hose them down and put them back. The tank ships complete with the cartridges, a pressure gauge, a union kit and an air relief valve.

Because of the size of the tank, this filter ships by freight.
