Pentair Clean & Clear Plus 520 sq ft Cartridge Pool Filter

The Pentair Clean & Clear Plus 520 is the largest filter in the Clean & Clear Plus line, with 520 sq ft of cartridge area in a single tank. It is the complete filter, Pentair part EC-160332.

Four cartridges, no backwash

Inside the tank are four nonwoven polyester cartridges. Spreading the flow across four elements means each one loads slowly, so the pressure gauge creeps up over months rather than weeks. When it is time to clean, you open the tank, lift the cartridges out and rinse them with a garden hose. There is no backwash valve and no water sent to waste.

Built for the pad

The tank is injection molded polypropylene reinforced with fiberglass. It does not corrode, which matters on a pad that gets splashed with chlorinated or salt water for years.

Before you order

This is a large filter for inground pools and ships by freight. Match the plumbing and pump flow to the filter when you plan the installation.
