Bottom mount, not side mount
The stem enters the gauge from below, so it is the right choice where the filter head or valve is tapped for a bottom connection. A side mount gauge with the same thread will not sit correctly in that port, so check which way your existing gauge points before ordering.
Why it matters
The gauge is the only window into what the filter is doing. You note the pressure with a clean element, and you clean again when the reading climbs by the amount the filter manual specifies. A gauge that has fogged, filled with water, stuck or drifted low breaks that whole method, and the filter quietly runs dirty.
