⌄The Sta-Rite 08428-0125 is the genuine Pentair rebuild kit for SwimQuip pool inlets. It replaces the parts of a return fitting that actually wear: a white face plate, an adjustable eyeball inlet and the screws that hold the plate on.
Fit
It is made for Sta-Rite SwimQuip inlet fittings with a 1-1/4 in. IPS connection, the fitting typically set in the wall of a gunite pool. If the body in the wall is sound, this kit is all the repair needs.
Why replace it
Eyeballs crack, seize or lose their grip over years of sun and chlorine, and a return you cannot aim means poor circulation. A new eyeball restores the ability to direct flow, and the fresh white face plate tidies up the wall.
This is the white kit. A gray version is available separately for pools with darker finishes.
