The Hayward SPX1091Z7 combo hose adapter is the fitting that connects flexible hose to the threaded ports on Hayward above ground filters, pumps, skimmers and chlorine feeders. One end is a 1-1/2 in. male thread; the other is a smooth, stepped barb that accepts either 1-1/4 in. or 1-1/2 in. hose. This is a two pack.

One adapter, two hose sizes

The barb is stepped rather than a single diameter. Smaller 1-1/4 in. hose seats on the first step and 1-1/2 in. hose pushes on to the second, so the same part works whichever hose your system uses. Secure it with a hose clamp; a double wire clamp grips a smooth barb better than a single band.

Genuine Hayward

The adapter is molded with SP1091Z7 stamped into the plastic, which makes it easy to confirm you are replacing like with like. It is listed as a replacement part for the Sand Master SM1700T, SM1900T and SM2300T sand filters and fits any Hayward equipment with a 1-1/2 in. threaded port.
