⌄The Hayward HLXPROUPG converts an existing Pro Logic or AquaLogic installation into an OmniPL automation system. It is an upgrade kit rather than a complete controller, so the panel and wiring already on the wall stay put and the pool picks up variable speed pump, salt system and lighting control at a mid range price.
What it controls
The kit ships with 4 relays and can be upgraded to 6 or 8 later. Variable speed pumps do not take a relay at all; the system runs up to 8 of them directly. With ColorLogic LED lights, OmniDirect Mode adds color options, dimming and speed control that are not available otherwise. PLUS models include a salt cell and S models are salt ready.
How you run it
An external touchscreen on a 15 ft cord mounts wherever it is easiest to reach. W models add full mobile control through the OmniLogic app plus Amazon Alexa and Google Home voice control. OmniLogic remotes work with it, including the HLWRELESS, HLWALLMOUNT and HLSPASIDE.
Before you order
Legacy Pro Logic and AquaLogic remotes, whether wireless, wall mount, desktop or spaside, are not compatible with the retrofit and will need to be replaced with OmniLogic equivalents.
