Hayward CL200EF In-Line Automatic Pool Chlorinator, 9 lb Chemical Feeder

The Hayward CL200EF is the current model of the CL200, the in-line tablet chlorinator found on a large share of residential pools. It plumbs into the return line after the filter and heater, holds up to 9 lb of chlorine or bromine tablets, and feeds sanitizer every time the pump runs. A dial on the lid sets how much water passes over the tablets, which sets the feed rate.

A drop-in replacement

The body, capacity and 1.5 in. connections match the CL200, so swapping a tired unit takes a few minutes with the unions already on the pipe. The corrosion-proof housing is built for a lifetime of sitting in chlorinated water on the pad.

Sized for residential pools

Hayward rates it for inground and above ground pools up to 40,000 gallons. Loaded with 3 in. tablets it runs for days between refills, which cuts down on daily chemical handling.

Before you order

Unions are not included. If you are replacing an existing CL200, reuse its unions. For a new installation add the Hayward SP1500UNPAK2 union kit, or glue 1.5 in. PVC male adapters directly into the body. Most installers prefer unions so the feeder can be removed for service.
