Product details

The King Technology New Water Model 400 is an in-line chlorine cycler for in ground pools up to 40,000 gallons. It plumbs into the equipment line and feeds sanitizer continuously rather than in doses.

How the system works

There are two halves to it. The cycler is the housing that plumbs in and controls how much water passes through. The Cycler Pac is a sealed, pre-filled cartridge of chlorine that drops inside it. Water flows past a small amount of chlorine at a time, which gives a steadier level than tipping tablets into a skimmer, and the trapped air in the top of the pac keeps the unused chlorine dry so it lasts through the season.

Setting it

A control dial meters the flow through the pac. Set the dial, test the water over the following days and adjust once you know what your pool needs. After that it holds its setting.

Refills

The Model 400 takes the pre-filled Cycler Pac Model 407C. Refilling means swapping a sealed pac, with no measuring and no handling loose chlorine.
