The Spa Frog Floating System from King Technology is a reusable floating holder that takes pre filled mineral and bromine cartridges. It works in any spa, with no plumbing and no in line holder required.

How the mineral side helps

Minerals handle part of the sanitizing load, which means the bromine does not have to carry all of it. King Technology rates the result at up to 50 percent less bromine than a standard bromine spa, and less bromine in the water is what people notice first in a hot tub they sit in.

The cartridge cycle

The two cartridges run on different clocks. The mineral cartridge is replaced every 4 months, which falls naturally at the drain and refill. The bromine cartridge runs 2 to 4 weeks depending on how heavily the spa gets used, and it is adjusted to match the demand of the spa it is in.

Straightforward to live with

Because the cartridges are pre filled and snap into the holder, there is no measuring and no handling loose chemical at the spa side. The float itself is reusable, so ongoing cost is cartridges only.
