Product details
The Zodiac R0502400 is the small collar with o-ring for the Nature2 Fusion Soft and Nature2 Fusion inground mineral sanitizer systems. It is the genuine Zodiac part.
What it seals
The collar and its o-ring are what hold the Fusion housing closed and watertight. Both live in warm, chemically treated water and both harden with time. Once the o-ring has taken a permanent set or the collar has gone brittle, the housing weeps no matter how far you tighten it.
When to change it
Replace it the moment you see water at the housing, and as a matter of habit whenever you have the unit open for a cartridge change. It costs very little and saves chasing a slow drip around the equipment pad later.

Questions and answers
What people ask about this product, answered by our pool techs.
Does the o-ring come with the collar?
Yes. It is supplied as the collar with its o-ring.
Is this the small collar or the large one?
Small. Zodiac lists R0502400 as the small collar, so confirm which size your Fusion housing uses before ordering.
Will it fit a Fusion Soft and an inground Fusion?
Zodiac lists it for both the Fusion Soft and the Fusion inground parts breakdowns.
My Fusion is leaking, is this the part?
It often is. A collar that has gone hard or an o-ring that has taken a set will seep at the housing, and both are replaced by this part.
