⌄The Zodiac R0524800 is the Side B direction control device for the Baracuda MX8 suction pool cleaner. It is the genuine Zodiac part, so it fits and works exactly like the one that came in the cleaner.
What it does
The direction control devices on either side of the MX8 are what let the cleaner change course as it works the pool. When one wears or jams, the cleaner tends to run in a rut, stall in corners or stop turning. Swapping the worn side restores the pattern without replacing the whole cleaner.
Before you order
This is the B side only. The MX8 uses a different device on the A side, sold separately as the Side A direction control device. It fits the MX8 and MX8 Elite; check your model before ordering.
