⌄The Zodiac R0524700 is the Side A direction control device for the Baracuda MX8, MX8 Elite and MX6 suction cleaners. It is the genuine Zodiac part.
What it does
The direction control device is what makes the cleaner change course. When it wears, the cleaner tends to follow the same path, stall against a wall or leave sections of the floor untouched. Replacing it restores the turning pattern that gives the MX cleaners their full coverage.
Before you order
This is Side A. The Side B device is a separate part number, so identify which side you need. Bearings, tracks, scrubbers and the engine assembly for the MX6 and MX8 are also available if the cleaner is due for a broader refresh.
