Product details

The Zodiac W83278 is the 12 inch wheel deflecter for Baracuda suction side pool cleaners. It is the molded plastic disc that rides around the cleaner and meets obstacles before the cleaner body does.

Why it wears out

This part exists to take abuse. Every wall, step, ladder leg and main drain the cleaner runs into gets hit by the deflecter first, hundreds of times a week. Plastic that is cycled that hard in sunlight and chlorinated water eventually cracks, and a piece breaking away is normal service life rather than a defect.
