Product details

The Zodiac W81701 is the transparent AIB in-ground diaphragm for Baracuda suction pool cleaners, fitting the Alpha 2, Alpha 3, Beta, Pacer, Manta and G2 models.

What it does

The diaphragm is the flexible plastic component inside the cleaner's drive body that pulses to create the cleaner's walking and turning motion. Zodiac uses the same AIB diaphragm across several Baracuda suction cleaner models that share this drive body design, which is why one part number covers so many cleaners. A worn or stiff diaphragm is a common reason a suction cleaner stops walking normally.

Fit and compatibility

This diaphragm is built for in-ground Baracuda cleaners: Alpha 2, Alpha 3, Beta, Pacer, Manta and G2. Confirm your cleaner model and generation before ordering, since Baracuda diaphragms differ between in-ground and above ground cleaners and have changed between generations of the same model line.

Before you order

This is the transparent AIB diaphragm and ships as a single replacement part.
