What it does

The diaphragm is the flexible plastic component inside the cleaner's drive body that pulses to create the cleaner's walking and turning motion. Zodiac uses the same AIB diaphragm across several Baracuda suction cleaner models that share this drive body design, which is why one part number covers so many cleaners. A worn or stiff diaphragm is a common reason a suction cleaner stops walking normally.
