The Zodiac R0714400 is the cyclonic scrubbing brush set for the Baracuda MX8 Elite pool cleaner, supplied as a complete set of four. It is the genuine Zodiac Baracuda part.
What the brushes do
As the MX8 Elite tracks across the pool, the brushes work the surface underneath it. They break loose dirt, sand and debris that has stuck to the plaster or liner so the cleaner can draw it in. That scrubbing is the difference between a pool that looks clean and one that has a fine film left behind.
Fitting
Each brush pops into the bottom of the scrubber and is held with clips, so the change is a hand job with no tools. Because they wear together, replace all four as a set rather than one at a time.

No. Each brush pops into the bottom of the scrubber and is held by clips, so they come out and go back in by hand.

How do I know they need replacing?
