These are the genuine Zodiac foot pads for the T5 pool cleaner, part number R0563700. The same part is also listed as the T5 Duo foot pads.
What the pads do
The foot pads are the contact patch between the cleaner and the pool. Everything the cleaner does depends on them gripping: holding position, climbing a wall, keeping to its pattern. As they wear smooth the cleaner starts to slip, and the symptoms look like a cleaner that has lost power when in fact it has only lost traction.
A wear part, not a failure
Pads spend their whole life being dragged across plaster, tile or a liner, so wearing out is what they are supposed to do. Changing them is quick, inexpensive and worth doing before you start pulling the cleaner apart looking for a bigger problem.
