The Zodiac R0796200 is the factory tune-up kit for the MX8 and MX8 Elite suction side pool cleaners. It packages the parts that wear from normal running into a single genuine OEM kit.
What it renews
The MX8 drives itself across the floor and up the walls on tracks turned by a shaft and bearing set, with a directional control device on each side deciding where it goes next. All of those parts wear. Tracks lose grip, bearings get gritty, and the control devices stop steering cleanly, which is why a cleaner that used to cover the whole pool starts sitting in one corner or falling off the wall.
A note on the parts list
