Zodiac Baracuda Inground Valve Cuff, W70263

This is the in-ground valve cuff for Zodiac Baracuda suction cleaners, part number W70263. Zodiac sells the identical cuff under R0527600 and W63900, so any of those three numbers gets you the same part.

Where it fits

The cuff is listed for a wide spread of Baracuda models: the G2, G3 and G4, the Alpha, Alpha 2, Alpha 3 and Alpha 3 Plus, the Manta in-ground and the X7 Quattro. It also turns up on the T5 Duo, Pacer and MX8 parts breakdowns. That breadth is normal for Baracuda, which reuses core valve components across generations.

Why it wears

The cuff works in the part of the cleaner where suction is regulated, and it spends its whole life under flow and movement. As it wears or distorts, the cleaner regulates badly. Owners usually notice the symptom rather than the cause: the cleaner slows, parks in one corner, or stops climbing walls it used to manage.
