Two parts in one
The cover is the shell on top of the cleaner, and the swivel is the rotating joint where the hose attaches. Zodiac supplies them together, so a cracked cover and a stiff swivel are both handled by the same order.
Why the swivel matters
An MX8 spends its run turning, reversing and climbing. The swivel lets the hose stay put while the cleaner rotates underneath it. When the swivel binds, that motion goes into the hose instead. The hose coils, the cleaner starts fighting its own tether, and coverage drops off.
