What it does

The gauge attaches to the suction line and measures the water flow reaching the cleaner. Checking the reading against the flow range for your cleaner model helps confirm the cleaner is getting enough suction to move and clean properly, since a suction cleaner that runs with too little or too much flow will not walk the pool floor correctly.
