Product details

Zodiac R0502600 is the genuine tab feeder assembly for the Nature2 Inground Fusion water sanitizer. The manufacturer lists the assembly as including the body, cap, top and o-ring.

What the tab feeder does

The Fusion pairs a mineral cartridge with a chlorine tab feeder. The minerals do most of the sanitizing work and the tabs supply the residual, so the feeder is not an accessory. When it stops holding tabs or stops sealing, the chemistry side of the system goes with it.

When to replace it

Chlorine tabs are hard on plastic. Over several seasons the feeder body and cap can craze, distort or crack, and once that happens a new o-ring will not bring the seal back. If the housing itself is sound and the unit is only weeping at the seal, an o-ring kit is the cheaper repair. Replace the assembly when the body or cap has failed.
